About SiteTrust
We're building the trust infrastructure for AI transparency — the public registry where consumers check if companies are trustworthy with AI, and the certification standard that gets companies listed.
Our Mission
To make AI transparency effortless, verifiable, and universal by providing independent certification, public verification, and clear standards that protect consumers and empower responsible organizations.
Why SiteTrust Exists
As AI-generated content becomes ubiquitous, 70% of consumers report they can no longer trust what they see online. Simultaneously, organizations face mounting regulatory requirements (Colorado AI Act and other US state AI regulations) and reputational risks related to undisclosed AI practices.
SiteTrust bridges this gap by establishing the first independent registry for AI transparency — a searchable, public database where anyone can verify an organization's commitment to responsible AI practices.
The Infrastructure Model
Like SSL Certificates for Web Security
Just as SSL certificates became the standard for web security between 2000-2010, SiteTrust certification will become the standard for AI transparency.
How We're Different
We're Not a Tool Company
We don't sell software or compete with C2PA providers. We're a certification authority — the independent verifier that organizations meet transparency standards.
We're Building Infrastructure
Like SSL, certification authorities, and registries — we're creating the invisible layer that makes trust possible at scale.
We're Independent
We don't build AI systems or have conflicts of interest. We only verify that organizations meet published transparency standards.
