How the free scan works
Enter your name, a business email that matches the domain, and the site. You get a live preview plus an emailed 10-point PDF.
Who can run it
- First name, business email, and domain.
- The email domain must match the scanned site (you cannot scan a competitor from a personal inbox).
- Typically one scan per domain every 7 days. A few SiteTrust demo domains are unlimited.

What the on-screen preview is
A source-level snapshot: HTTPS, script tags, known trackers in HTML, banner in source, privacy and AI policy detection, plus a screenshot. “Banner in source” is not proof the banner works.
Behind the scenes the free scan still runs a live pre-consent capture (Run A) for about 30 seconds.
What is visible vs locked
- Usually visible: Tracker Inventory, Pre-Consent Behavior (Run A), Banner Conformance, AI Disclosure, Legal Pages.
- Usually locked: Post-Accept (Run B), Post-Decline (Run C), Consent Records, Images, Accessibility.
What a plan unlocks
