PASS, FAIL, and ATTENTION

• PASS. The check met the Trusted Site Standard.
• FAIL. The check did not meet the standard.
• ATTENTION. Needs review, is incomplete, is not fully proven yet, or is an advisory item that is not a hard pass/fail in this scan.

• Ignore Images and Accessibility when deciding Trusted Site.
• Overall PASS = all 8 core checks PASS.
• Overall FAIL = any core FAIL.
• Otherwise ATTENTION.

Report copy uses: “Meets the SiteTrust Trusted Site Standard”, “Does not yet meet…”, or “Requires attention. Review findings below.” The score line is: “A Trusted Site passes all 8 required checks.”

Prospect mode does not run a full Accept or a full Decline. Post-Accept, Post-Decline, Consent Records, Images, and Accessibility are usually locked. That is ATTENTION, not a secret FAIL. Pre-Consent Behavior is visible because the 30-second capture still runs.

Dashboard Site Audit can show SKIPPED (no SiteTrust banner, or a third-party CMP the robot cannot click), ERROR, or INCONCLUSIVE. Those are run-level states. They are not a substitute for a core PASS. If Run B was skipped because a third-party CMP was detected, install or keep SiteTrust Consent if you want automated B and C.

If the banner blocked GA on first load, Tracker Inventory can PASS and the UI may say trackers were detected but blocked. That is different from a site with no tags at all. Do not delete evidence of blocked tags. They are the reason the banner exists.
